The Redding Electric Utility will perform ongoing general inspection, maintenance, and repair activities of electric lines and associated equipment, as required to provide continuous service and protect the health and safety of the public. Work will involve overhead and underground infrastructures, including replacing poles, cross-arms, secondary services, transformers, cables, and other necessary components. Additional work includes tree trimming and maintaining streetlights.

The action areas are within previously disturbed areas and do not have significant values for wildlife habitat or other environmental resources and the project has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
