Based on an examination of the project, this project qualifies for the following exemptions under the California Environmental Quality Act- CEQA Guidelines Class 1: Existing Facilities section 15301 - this consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. The project, involving the replacement of the existing roof and gutter system, is a minor alteration of existing facilities involving no expansion of the existing use. Overall, the proposed improvements would help maintain the existing facility and are consistent with the aforementioned exemption.
