The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has prepared an Initial Study with Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the proposed Marin City Second Culvert Project (Project). The Project would construct a new drainage system to convey stormwater flows from west of U.S. Highway 101 (US 101) to Richardson Bay in Marin City. The Project would also replace damaged storm drain pipes in the US 101/Donahue Street interchange area and repair uneven pavement on US 101 within the Project area. The Project area is along US 101 from Post Mile (PM) 3.3 to 3.7 and on Donahue Street adjacent to the US 101 southbound on- and off-ramps.
