Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-ORA-53919-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison (Permittee), as represented by Victoria Parsons.
The project consists of vegetation crushing and trimming to facilitate access to Pole 4219939E, and the repair of a degraded concrete and steel footing associated with Pole 4219939E. Access to the pole’s footing requires 765 feet of mixed overland and earthen road travel, which requires the crushing of channel vegetation and trimming of riparian trees to facilitate vehicle and equipment access, and conduct repair operations. Channel vegetation crushed and trimmed as part of the project includes temporary impacts to mulefat thickets, scalebroom scrub, and California sycamore – coast live oak riparian woodlands. The project also includes the remediation of all project areas, including the regrading of channel areas back to their pre-project contours, removal of project generated wastes, and the restoration of channel ecology and morphology upon completion of the project.
