Document Description
The removal of approximately 210 tons of rock slope protection (RSP) that were installed in Fall 2024 to temporarily stabilize the bank, and permanently stabilize an eroding bankside along Bear Creek to prevent bank failure; and, to protect the structural integrity of an existing 20-inch water pipeline. A hybrid bioengineered/shotcrete soil nail wall will be installed along an approximate 125-foot long stretch of the creek bank. The soil nails and shotcrete will provide structural support on the upstream end of an existing large boulder. The project benefits the general public with the continual supply of safe and reliable drinking water. The project was previously evaluated and approved in Fall of 2024
