Document Description
Caltrans proposes installing wrong-way driver prevention measures and pedestrian safety enhancements at 130 location in San Mateo County on SR-28, SR-92, and US-101. Work may include installing high-visibility crosswalks, basic crosswalks, brick/tile crosswalks, red reflective pavement markings, advanced stop markings, left and right arrows, and refreshing existing pavement markings. The project is needed to improve traffic safety in the area. All construction work will be conducted within Caltrans ROW on the existing paved roadway. Soil disturbance will be minimal due to the placement of construction area signs (1-post stationary signs). Equipment shall be staged within Caltrans ROW in areas absent of vegetation. The project will be constructed during spring and summer of 2026.
