Document Description
The project involves restoration of approximately 0.82-acre along Sand Creek and installation of approximately 3,850 linear feet of wildlife-friendly fencing to improve grazing infrastructure and protect habitats along Sand Creek within the ranch property. Riparian restoration will significantly enhance wildlife habitat by reestablishing native vegetation along streambanks, creating a diverse plant community that provides essential shelter, nesting sites, and foraging opportunities for various species. Improvements to the regenerative grazing infrastructure will significantly enhance the diverse habitats at Basin Ranch, including riparian zones, chaparral, annual and perennial grasslands, xeric habitats, and woodlands that feature a variety of oak species.
