Document Description
Use Permit and Reclamation Plan amendment to expand the quarry excavation area and allow continued mining activities at the site for an additional 30 years. The proposed project would allow for the continued removal, crushing and stockpiling of aggregate on site. Mining operations would continue Monday through Friday with no night, weekend, or holiday operations. Hours of operation will be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Blasting will continue to occur every two to three years, in the late winter or early spring between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. The operations at this site will vary based on the need of the aggregate product produced at the site. It is estimated that approximately 250 truckloads of material will be transported from the site with an average of five loads per week.
