Document Description
The State Water Resources Board (State Water Board) is funding the Project referred to internally as Pioneer Trail Waterline and PRV Upgrade. The Project will improve reliability of domestic water access and enhance fire protection capabilities by installing approximately 8,700 linear feet of new 12-inch waterline in the Pioneer Trail area. The Project will also replace 2,600 linear feet of existing single feed pipelines with new 12-inch pipelines to improve water system efficiency and fire flows. Three new pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations will be installed to improve safety and functionality. Eight fire hydrants will be installed where they are deficient or non-existent within the Project area of the City of South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County. Six water service connections will also be replaced.
