Document Description
The City of Glendale Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) establishes a policy framework to guide local actions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and increasing resilience to climate change impacts. The CAAP identifies sector-specific strategies—such as those related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation, waste management, and land use planning—to meet the City’s long-term emission reduction targets. Implementation of the CAAP will involve policy amendments, capital improvements, and community-based programs designed to achieve compliance with applicable State GHG reduction mandates and adaptation goals.
