Work will add approximately 200-sqft of trail on the inland side of existing trail away from bluff failure. Ground disturbance over the 200-sqft area will not extend below 6 inches depth. Any root 3 inches in diameter or greater encountered during excavation shall be left intact and shall not be cut, damaged, or relocated. Galvanized wire fencing will be installed on the coastal edge of trail on 6-foot metal fence posts. Following the removal of pavement at fence post sites, fence posts will be installed manually via post pounding at a depth of 2 feet with no excavation needed.
