Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SOL-59787-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Solano Resource Conservation District, as represented by Chris Rose. The Project is limited to "routine maintenance activities," including periodic, recurring activities necessary to maintain the water quality, transport capacity of stream channels, watercourse restoration, invasive plant species control, and habitat enhancement. Routine maintenance activities authorized under this Agreement include: A) removal of post-fire standing or downed riparian trees, and B) removal of invasive tamarisk (Tamarix parviflora and T. ramosissima) and arundo (Arundo donax) as outlined below. Project A: Post-Fire Riparian Tree Removal and Stream Crossings The Project involves removal of standing dead trees and dead/downed wood in riparian zones that inhibit flows, affect water quality, pose an increased risk of erosion,
