Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is funding the Project referred to internally as Wynola Estates Drinking Water Treatment and Supply. The Project includes the development of a treatment plan to address the following issues: manganese concentrations that exceed secondary Maximum Contaminant Levels, excess iron concentrations, and occurrence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances and related compounds as these have been detected in raw water wells. The design will also include mitigation to reduce potential impacts from the production of Disinfection Byproducts, the degradation of the existing asbestos cement water mains, and the release of related liquid waste.
