Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SON-53359-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, the City of Santa Rosa. The project is limited to the rehabilitation of two manholes, one above the northern bank and one above the southern bank of the Colgan Creek Flood Control Channel, and associated riparian vegetation trimming. Work at each manhole will require a 30-foot by 30-foot work area plus additional areas of riparian vegetation trimming for access. No excavation will be required. The project will result in 0.02 acre and 40 linear feet of temporary impacts to riparian habitat, and 0.02 acre of temporary impacts to wetlands hydrologically connected to the Colgan Creek Flood Control Channel. Fifteen riparian trees less than 2 inches diameter-at-breast-height (DBH) will be removed as a result of the project.
