Document Description
The project proposes to construct roundabouts at two intersections along West Grant Line Road. One would be installed at the intersection of West Grant Line Road and Altamont Pass Road; the other would be placed at the intersection of West Grant Line Road and Mountain House Road. The roundabouts are designed to ameliorate excessive queuing and delays that currently exist at both intersections; they are not intended to accommodate any future forecasted traffic volumes. Both roundabouts would require the acquisition of additional road right-of-way, as existing right-of-way is inadequate to accommodate these facilities. The project would require approvals from both the City and Alameda County.
