Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SOL-60647-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Westervelt Ecological Services.
The 5.16 acre project is limited to the following activities: installation of a free span bridge and low water crossing, a one-time dredging event to create the low water crossing, installation of a temporary road on the in-land side of Highway 84 to support low water crossing, installation of sheet pile walls to support low water crossing, dewatering to support low water crossing, and tree removal to support the low water crossing. The low water crossing and associated dredging will create a tidal connection between the Sacramento River and the approximately 300-acre restoration area.
