SWP Agreement #25043 provides for a temporary additional point of delivery of up to 15,000 acre-feet per year of Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency’s (AVEK’s) SWP water supplies to Littlerock’s turnout located in Reach 21 of the California Aqueduct through March 10, 2034. This turnout directly feeds into an adjudicated groundwater basin in the Antelope Valley region, where AVEK can store its SWP water supplies for later recovery for use in its service area.
