Document Description
The Rosemary Solar Project (Project) will construct and operate a 140-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic (PV) solar and battery energy storage facility on approximately 1,212 acres of land located in an agricultural area of unincorporated Fresno County west of State Route 145, approximately 25 miles southwest of Fresno, 6 miles east of Cantua Creek, and 5 miles south of San Joaquin on the south side of Kamm Avenue between South El Dorado Avenue and South Yuba Avenue. The Project consists of three interconnected generation sites, an on-site substation, to an approximate 2-mile transmission line connecting to the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Crescent Substation. The Project plans to upgrade the utility infrastructure including reconducting 5-miles of PG&E transmission lines and the eventual decommissioning of the facility at the end of its operational life.
