Document Description
The proposed project includes improving existing transportation and pedestrian facilities within the SR-67/Riverford Road interchange. The project would convert two intersections into roundabouts to improve traffic circulation and ease congestion. The project would also add new on- and off- ramp legs; construct crosswalks, Rapid Flashing Beacons, pedestrian push buttons for sidewalks, sidewalks, shared-use pathways, and Class II bike lanes; and build stormwater quality improvement features. New curb cuts, gutters, inlets, and other storm drain features would be added and tie into the existing drainage systems as part of stormwater quality improvements. The proposed action also includes authorizing the Director of Department of General Services to proceed with right-of-way negotiations and acquisitions for construction.
