The project proposes to construct a 20-acre passive park with approximately 65 parking spaces in two separate lots, one in the northern portion and the other at the southwestern corner of the site along Palomar Street. The proposed project would include amenities such as an interpretive panel, raptor perch, solar lighting, bike racks, butterfly/pollinator garden, information kiosks, drinking fountains, pet stations, a network of trails, picnic tables, exercise stations, a disk golf course, a bird observation area, bench seating, community garden, lawn playfield, shade structures, a bridge crossing, gates, restrooms, and natural drainage swales.
