Approval of Minor Alteration No. WA2025057, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To conduct bridge strengthening operations at the existing State Route 20 bridge (Sutter Bypass Bridge No. 18-0005) located between S Tarke Road and W Butte Road in Sutter County. The proposed work involves strengthening 14 of the bridge’s bents. Each bent consists of five 16- inch diameter column piers, which need to be retrofitted with steel bracing. The bracing will be installed parallel to the stream flow. The bridge is authorized under Permit 16764.
