The proposed project consists of a comprehensive update to the City of Blue Lake General Plan Housing Element. The proposed project is both a policy document and an implementation tool for implementing the City's General Plan and complying with State Housing law. It contains goals, policies, and programs to guide future housing development for a RHNA of 34 units and a development potential of up to 62 units. The update covers the planning period of December 31, 2018, to August 31, 2027. The programs in the Housing Element Update propose amendments to the City's Zoning Code for the purpose of achieving compliance with State housing law.
