Document Description
This proposed project consists of the development of 4.46 acres for the construction of 16 pickleball courts; demolition and replacement of existing basketball courts and a skatepark; construction of an approximate 400 square foot restroom building and; construction of associated seating areas and shade structures.
The project will result in incidental take of 101 western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia),
which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The
WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of project implementation.
