The California Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) proposes to expand the existing motorcross practice track at Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) under the process outlined in the Prairie City SVRA Road and Trail Management Plan (RTMP) approved in 2024. Project-level review has been completed, and staff has determined that the project is covered under the Prairie City SVRA RTMP initial study and Negative Declaration, with the adoption of specific Standard Project Requirements and Mitigation Measures from the RTMP (CEQA Guidelines 15168) and implementation of the project description.
