Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Disinfection Byproduct Reduction Project. The Project to be funded by the State Water Board includes a new water treatment plant; installation of photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of the new water treatment plant; a battery energy storage system; a new emergency power generator; a new supervisory control and data acquisition system; conversion of the existing Tank 2 into a backwash recycle/sludge containment tank; slow sand filter roof rehabilitation and media replacement; a 200,000-gallon glass-fused bolted steel tank; replacement of the high-pressure zone pump station with three pumps; installation of 2,913 feet of four inch-diameter well water pipe and electrical conduits; installation of 710 feet of six inch-diameter potable water main and fire hydrants; 480V power extension by PG&E; septic system improvements; a 5,000-gallon hydropneumatics tank; miscellaneous site and drainage improvements; and parking/staging area improvements.
