Document Description
The Project removes the Sunset Weir on the Feather River, restoring fully volitional passage for protected migratory fish species (green sturgeon, chinook salmon, and steelhead). Construction will replace and upgrade the Sunset Pump Station to operate at a lower surface water elevation, rehabilitate existing pump discharge pipelines, install fish screens that meet current State and federal standards, and stabilize the eroded left bank area downstream of the weir incorporation bioengineering techniques.
