Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SDO-55909-R5), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, the City of Oceanside. The project is the seismic retrofit of the Douglas Drive bridge and the installation of two fish passage flumes and a wildlife crossing. To compensate for the impacts associated with the Project, the Applicant will establish of 0.07 acres of freshwater wetlands, enhance of 0.02 acres of freshwater wetlands, restore of 0.26 acres of coastal sage scrub, eradicate of 0.04 acres of invasive riparian vegetation, and manage invasive
vegetation in the 2.28-acre mitigation site at El Corazon.
