Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has issued an ITP (No. 2081(b)-2025-060-06), pursuant to Section 2081(b) of the Fish and Game Code to City of Rialto. The Project includes the development of 39.9 acres of undeveloped land into an approximately 664,859 square-feet (sqft) industrial warehouse and 4.3 acres of off-site improvements adjacent to the site. The Project will result in impacts to 28.6 acres of Crotch’s bumble bee (Bombus crotchii) habitat; the Project will permanently remove 28.6 acres of Crotch’s bumble bee habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of Crotch’s bumble bee, which is/are designated as a candidate species under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
