Document Description
The Housing Element Implementation/Rezone Project consists of amendments to the City of Tracy General Plan, including updates to the Land Use, Circulation, Safety, and Environmental Justice Elements, amendments to the Industrial Areas, I-205 Corridor, and Tracy Hills Specific Plans, and rezonings of Housing Element Opportunity Sites throughout the City. The project updates land use designations, zoning classifications, and development standards to implement the City's adopted 2023–2031 Housing Element and provide sufficient residential development capacity to accommodate the City's Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) consistent with State Housing Element Law. The project also includes certification of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
