Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-MEN-62783-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant is the California Department of Transportation. In accordance with the Notification and supporting documents, the purpose of the project is to improve road safety and includes construction of soldier pile retaining walls. The retaining wall between PMs 9.82 and 10.00 will be constructed on the hillside and road fill above two existing stream culverts. No work is proposed on the existing culverts, but riparian vegetation removal will occur at both locations (PM 9.86 and PM 9.82). The project will have no impacts to the stream flow, bed, or channel of streams.
