Document Description
Approval of Minor Alteration No. WA2025148, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To remove and replace existing concrete curb and bridge deck (portion), remove and replace damaged existing steel members of the west portal sway bracing, patch spall in polyester concrete overlay in the westbound lane near panel point 4, fill void under abutment 4 at left backwall, remove underwater debris from Pier No. 2 to allow access for inspection diver and to reduce potential scour, remove the abandoned control building and its associated access ladder, closing the existing rail opening left by the removal of the control building, enhance safety lighting along the approach and departure and at Roberts Lane Intersection, and place jagged rock blanket embedded in front of Abutment No. 4 retaining wall above/atop the existing rock slope protection (RSP). The San Joaquin River Garwood Bridge (Bridge No. 29-0050) is authorized under Permit 19145.
