Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is funding the Project referred to internally as LCWA Watermain Lining Project.
The Project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 4,000 linear feet (ft.) of 18-inch diameter watermain. The watermain will be rehabilitated in place by using cured in-place pipe (CIPP) liner methods. Installation of the CIPP lining will require the excavation of pits to access the existing 18-inch watermain. Nine pit locations have been identified along the existing watermain throughout the Project site. The dimensions of each access pit will be approximately seven ft. by 12 ft. The work area at each pit site is anticipated to be approximately 20 ft. by 50 ft. Access pits will be backfilled at the end of Project's completion, hydroseeded, and restored to as near pre-construction contours as possible.
