Document Description
The Avocet Energy Storage Project is located on a 6.96-acre site at 23320 Alameda Street in the City of Carson. The proposed project includes the development of an approximately 200-megawatt battery energy storage system (BESS) located within the project site. The proposed project would provide a service to the regional electric grid by receiving energy from the SCE electric transmission system, storing energy on site, and then later delivering energy back to the point of interconnection.
