Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-MOD-60031-R1], pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Mazen Zaina, California Dept. of Transportation, District 2. The project proposes to restore or replace 13 culverts at various locations along State Route 395 between the point south of Alturas (PM R17.50) to a point north of Alturas (PM 34.0). Ten of the thirteen culverts are not jurisdictional and not covered by this agreement. Three of the thirteen culverts are jurisdictional and are covered by this agreement. Those three culverts will be replaced, abandoned in place, or repaired with concrete paving. Culverts to be replaced will be increased in diameter to allow increased water flow, and ease of maintenance and inspection. These three culverts are located at the following post-miles: 31.23, 31.56, and 33.19
