Document Description
On November 8, 2023, the Chino Valley Fire District (District) approved the Chino Valley Fire Station 68 Project (Project), which includes Fire Station 68 and the Essential Resource Facility (ERF). On June 12, 2025, the District approved a construction contract with Horizons Construction Company Int'l, Inc. for construction of the Project that was previously analyzed in the Project's Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND; State Clearinghouse Number 2023100177). The District's Board of Directors found that no subsequent or supplemental CEQA review is required since none of the conditions in Public Resources Code section 21166 and State CEQA Guidelines section 15162 apply; thus, no further environmental review is required as the construction contract for the Project falls within the scope of the MND.
