The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement Extension EPIMS Notification Number AMA-13940 -R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Ione as represented by Janice Traverso. The project is limited to the clearing of vegetation along the banks and channel of a 2.5-mile stretch of Sutter Creek and the removal, via excavation, of 50,000 cubic yards of excess sediment from the bed of a 0.5-mile stretch of Sutter Creek.
