Document Description
The Project is comprised of the development of 11.81 acres of undeveloped land into (a) convenience store building with 45 parking spaces and a fueling canopy with eight double-sided fuel dispensers and two double-sided alternative fuel dispensers; a drive-thru restaurant with 39 parking spaces; (c) a multitenant retail building with 42 parking spaces, a supermarket with 80 parking spaces, and another multi-tenant retail building with 39 parking spaces; (d) an automated carwash with 6 parking spaces; and (e) a three-story hotel (100 rooms) with 158 parking spaces. The Project will result in incidental take of 11 western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia), which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
