Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Dune 3 Water Company Consolidation Project. The Project includes consolidation of the Dune 3 Water Mutual Company with the Indian Wells Valley Water District (IWVWD). The proposed Project will install approximately 3,200 feet of 12-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) main and 8,500 feet of 8-inch PVC main, gate valves, fire hydrants, new meters, one-inch service laterals and other appurtenances as required. The existing Dune 3 wells will be destroyed per County requirements and existing pumps and tanks will be removed from easements. Additionally, the Project also includes connection of the distribution system to the existing IWVWD system at two locations: Ward Avenue/N Strecker Street, and Autumn Avenue/N Calvert Boulevard.
