Document Description
The proposed project would amend the City of Piedmont’s General Plan by replacing the current Housing Element with the proposed 2023-2031 Housing Element. The proposed Housing Element establishes programs, policies, and actions to further the goal of meeting the existing and projected housing needs of all income levels of households in the Piedmont community; provides evidence of the City’s ability to accommodate the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) through the year 2031, as established by the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). Piedmont’s RHNA allocation for the 2023-2031 planning period (6th RHNA cycle) is 587 units.
