Document Description
Application made by Bullhead Solar, LLC requesting the Board of Supervisors’ consent to the granting of a non-exclusive franchise to construct, install, maintain, inspect, operate, repair, renew and remove a pole line transmission system and overhead or underground fiber optic cable for the purpose of transmitting electrical power from the Bullhead Solar Project to Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s Rosamond Switching Substation. The facilities contemplated in this non-exclusive franchise were described and analyzed as part of the Bullhead Solar Project. An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) relating to the Bullhead Solar Project was prepared by the Planning and Natural Resources Department and found to be complete and adequate in scope for consideration by the Kern County Board of Supervisors in conjunction with approval of the Bullhead Solar Project on March 19, 2024.
