The proposed Project would include removal of Rincon Island's remaining surface structures and remediation of the Island’s contaminated soil and interstitial water, improvements to the State Coastal Conservancy parcel adjacent to the Rincon Island causeway landing/abutment, decommissioning of onshore pipeline connections from the causeway abutment to the vault box, and remediation of the onshore facility. The State Lands Commission action is adoption of an Addendum to the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and authorization for the Modified Project as described in the Addendum.
