The Desert Retreat Specific Plan allows development of 1,500 homes on 377 acres on the northwest corner of Ave. 40 and Madison St. in the City of Indio. A 7.0-MG potable water storage tank, connection pipes, and an access road around the tank is planned within the existing Coachella Valley Water District Sun City Reservoir 4730 Site to provide water service to the Desert Retreat project site.
