Document Description
The City of Santa Rosa (City) is constructing its Fulton Road Sewer Main Improvements project which includes replacement of approximately 300 feet of failing sewer pipe that was installed under Santa Rosa Creek west of the Fulton Road Bridge in 1969. The sewer has become partially obstructed and needs to be replaced.
The City has completed environmental documentation in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for Project. The City prepared an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Project. The Santa Rosa City Council approved the project August 3, 2023. A Notice of Determination for the Project was filed on August 10, 2023.
As a responsible agency under CEQA, Sonoma Water considered the IS/MND as prepared by the City. Sonoma Water currently uses the property for flood control purposes. The project will not adversely affect Sonoma Water in any respect. The easement meet all the requirements of Government Code, Section 65402, for General Plan consistency
