Document Description
The existing culvert on the Stewartville Trail crossing Sand Creek was dislodged during storms in 2023, leaving the access road impassable. The project will replace the culvert with a 60-inch-diameter by 30-foot-long CMP culvert, and install new headwall rock slope protection (RSP), tail-wall RSP, and energy dissipators. Additionally, low-tech restoration activities, including planting native vegetation and installing willow fascines, will be conducted downstream to address downstream incision.
