Document Description
Amgen proposes to construct Building 50, a technology and life sciences facility within the southern boundary of the Amgen Thousand Oaks (ATO) Campus, located at 701 Pauling Drive in the City of Thousand Oaks. Building 50 would be comprised of 377,256 square feet of floor area on a 4.27-acre Development Area. Building 50 would include research and laboratory facilities, consisting of chemical and biological lab space, collaboration areas, office space, and a range of supporting functions such as hazardous -materials storage, locker rooms, IT rooms, supply areas, and general storage. A ground-floor lobby and cafés on several floors would also be provided to serve the campus only. Collectively, these uses would establish Building 50 as a modern, purpose-built facility designed to support scientific research and innovation. Building 50 would include four above-grade stories (approximately 70 feet above grade, and 98 feet to the top of the rooftop equipment), and an additional one below-grade level.
