This proposed project involves subdividing approximately 40 acres of undeveloped property into 152 single-family residential lots. Project activities include Project Site grading, vegetation clearing, and installing erosion control measures to prepare the site; and cut-and-fill operations to construct building pads, internal roadways, and utility corridors.
The Project will result in incidental take of 40 western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia).
which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The
WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
