The existing shoulders would be repaired using micro-surfacing to maintain a proper driving surface for a Bus on Shoulder (BOS) pilot program. The micro-surfacing would overlay a new asphaltic concrete application over the existing pavement surface. No expansion to the existing surface footprint is proposed.
