Approval of Permit No. 19699, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To construct enhancements to the Natomas Cross Canal including degrading and regrading portions of high-ground on three islands in the channel to create additional aquatic habitat, planting riparian vegetation on the channel islands and levee streambank and upland zones on the north levee to reduce the effects of wind-induced wave wash erosion to the north levee embankment, and to construct two segments of landside levee buttress along the north levee using the island excess graded material. The Project also authorizes Permit No. 1700-1, Permit No. 16293-1, and Permit No. 1896-1.
