Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SAC-27662-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sacramento Valley Energy Center, LLC as represented by Hy Martin.
This proposed project involves the construction and operation of an approximately 200- megawatt (MW) alternating current (AC) photovoltaic (PV) solar facility and associated 4- hour/100 MW AC battery energy storage system (BESS). Project components include an onsite substation, inverters, solar array fields, fencing, roads, supervisory control, data acquisition system, generation tie (gen-tie) line, and switchyard. Of the approximately 2,704-acre project site, approximately 1,412 acres of this area would be developed to support the project which
includes the proposed footprint of project construction activities and development.
Approximately 732.41 acres will not be developed as part of the project and an additional 477.23 acres directly adjacent to the Project Area will be preserved, totaling 1209.64 acres. The Project Area includes all locations used for temporary construction and all permanent project infrastructure. The Project includes the following components for construction and installation of the new solar facility and for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the facility once built. Project construction
is estimated to span approximately 18 months, and O&M activities are anticipated to continue for 35 years.
