Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 19669, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To install a new approximately 94 linear feet, 18-inch-diameter, 0.5-inch-thick welded steel drainage pipe at an invert elevation of 54.65 feet (NAVD88) through Dry Creek levee. The pipe will be encased with 1 foot of controlled low strength material (CLSM) and installed via an open-cut trench. Approximately 5-foot-deep by 2- to 4-foot-wide storm drainage ditches will be constructed at the landside inlet and waterside outlet. At the landside pipe inlet, a precast concrete headwall and a 48-inch-wide trash rack with 4-inch maximum bar spacing will be installed. At the waterside pipe outlet, a precast concrete headwall, a 18-inch flap gate, and 18-inch-minus rock slope protection will be installed. At the levee embankment waterside hinge, a 4-foot by 6-foot by 19-foot-deep precast concrete gate well will be installed. The gate well will house an access ladder, an 18-inch diameter automatic sluice gate as a positive closure device, and an automatic gate lift.
